Designed by Cristopher Nying together with long-term partner Profan, the store draws on the atmosphere of a museum shop on its first floor and an ongoing construction-site on its second, creating a sense of constant motion. The homely feel of the Spanish-style villa is disrupted by industrial elements. Concrete, steel, fibreglass, mirrors, recycled wood, container walls and reworked furniture give the space a brutalist quality.
