Produced from a Japanese cupro with a wax dipped, paraffin-coated shell, this dress has a rounded neckline and upward set-in sleeves with underarm gathers. It features pinch seam construction at the front and back, a low open back with elongated ties, and a voluminous drape with an elongated length.

This fabric is crafted using a paraffin coating process that transforms a lightweight cupro into a structured, durable, and water-repellent material. The treatment creates a distinctive chalk-marked surface that changes with every fold and crease, giving each piece its own evolving character. While the fabric feels firm at first, it gradually softens and molds to its wearer, becoming more comfortable over time. Additionally, the paraffin will change colour and develop a natural patina with long-term use.
