We are looking for a Designer to join our Womenswear Ready-to-Wear team, working closely with the Womenswear Head Designer and Creative Director to develop seasonal collections and special projects.

In this role, you will design high-quality products in line with the aesthetic vision and standards of the company. You will be the creative lead for your product categories and assortment.

You will lead the design process from research and inspiration through colour, material selection, sketching and draping, driving the development of cohesive collections in close collaboration with R&D, product developers, pattern makers and atelier to ensure each product reaches its full potential.

You will be based at our headquarters in Stockholm and will have commitments that require travel.

This role works closely with suppliers, factories and cross-functional teams, and reports to the Head Designer and Studio Director.

Tasks (include but not limited to):

• Deliver to deadlines without compromising creativity, quality or attention to detail
• Develop well-considered garments, constructions and tech packs, balancing design, quality and cost
• Produce clear and detailed technical sketches to support development across pattern making, atelier, product development and production, ensuring all documentation is updated throughout the process
• Maintain clear and informative overviews of your concepts and product categories
• Doing well prepared and proactive work in fittings, clearly pushing through design vision also taking further production processes into consideration
• Take a proactive and well-prepared approach to fittings, driving the design vision while vision also taking further production processes into consideration
• Work proactively to secure target raw material costs for given products
• Keep Product Developers continuously updated on style development and design details to ensure an efficient and proactive development process

PROFILE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• ·Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a design studio
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrication and silhouette development
• Appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues when needed
• Creative problem solver with an analytical and methodical approach
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Exceptional technical sketching ability
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively both internally and externally
• Fluent in English. All other languages are a plus
